Quinceañeras

To Register: 

• Candidate must have received the sacraments of Baptism, Eucharist, and Confirmation and provide the certifications with the registration form. 

  • If Candidate has not been confirmed, she must be enrolled in our Religious Education program.

• For a registered family of the parish, the fee is $300

• For a non-registered family, the fee is $500.

• A $100 deposit is required at the time of registration. The remaining is due prior to the celebration date.

* There will not be any celebrations of Quinceañeras on Sundays or during holy week *

Preparation: ​

• A mandatory rehearsal will be scheduled the evening before the Mass. 

• The Quinceañera, readers, and parents must attend the rehearsal. 

• The candidate must receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation (Confession) before the day of the celebration, or after the rehearsal.

Day of Celebration:

• Mass will begin promptly at the scheduled time. Please arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the ceremony. 

• The parents, godparents, and court may process in and out with the candidate.

• Father will allow all gifts to be presented during the celebration. 

• All music must be played live (recorded music not allow)

  • Contact the parish office for a list of musicians​

• Photography and videography are allowed but must only be done from the sides of the sanctuary. 

  • No photographer may enter the sanctuary space to take photos.​ (The sanctuary is the area raised above the main floor)

• The church may be decorated but it is not required

  • 2 floral arrangements may be used on the pedestals at the back wall behind the altar. 1 or 2 arrangements can also be placed in front of the altar.​

  • Please only use ribbon loop or rubber bands for pew decoration. Use of plastic clips, tape, velcro, staples, clamps, floral pins, etc., are prohibited. 

• To demonstrate reverence for our Lord Jesus Christ, the Quinceañera and court should dress modestly and respectfully. 

  • Examples of inappropriate attire include uncovered shoulders and backs, low cuts, and high slits. ​Strapless or spaghetti straps may only be allowed if worn with a jacket or shawl.

• Food, drinks, tobacco, and alcohol are prohibited. ​​​
